The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 500 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 01.10.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.78854 of 2018(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Motihari in connection with Excise Case No. 500 of 2018.
