JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-07-2025 Heard Mr. Navin Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Pramod Kumar Pandey, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 120B and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 63 and 65 of the Copy Right Act.

3. As per prosecution case, informant, namely Abhitesh Kumar, is posted at Indo Brine Industry which is a registered company of Dandi salt. It is alleged that accused persons got registration for the same and when the informant's company came to know about the same, they filed a copy right case and license of the accused persons were canceled, however,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24882 of 2025(4) dt.03-07-2025 2/2 the co-accused persons made an agreement with this petitioner for selling of Dandi salt and thereafter, a raid was conducted and 3892 bags of duplicate Dandi salt were recovered.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is himself victim of the circumstances.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Petitioner has got six criminal antecedents out of which two are of similar nature.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and the fact that petitioner has got six criminal antecedents out of which two are of similar nature, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
