Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ application has been filed seeking a direction upon

Patna High Court CWJC No.5618 of 2023(2) dt.26-04-2023 2/3 the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation to dispose of the Mutation Appeal No. 1 of 2022-23 (Syed Ahsan Majid Vs. Syed Faisal Majid and others) filed under Section 141 and 142 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007.

Learned counsel next submits that the aforesaid mutation appeal was heard at length by the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, and the arguments from both the sides concluded on 11.05.2022 itself. Learned counsel next submits that, thereafter, the order was reserved but, till date, the order has not been pronounced which necessitated the petitioner to file the present writ application seeking a direction upon the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, to pass final order in the aforesaid Mutation Appeal No. 1 of 2022-2023. Learned counsel appearing for the Municipality does not object to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation to pass final orders in Mutation Appeal No. 1 of 2022-23 expeditiously preferably within a period of
