Patna High Court CWJC No.6636 of 2022(2) dt.20-12-2022 2/3 command/ commands, direction / directions, for directing the following:- respondents for the following :- (i) To provide allot land to the petitioner at Bahadurpur either from Sector No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and standard area upto 300 meters (about 3230 square feet) according to the advertisement of the Bihar State Housing Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) for which he had applied.

(ii) To restrain the respondent from realizing the cost of the allotted land from the petitioner at an arbitrary rate rather the respondents may realize the cost according to terms and conditions of advertisement i.e. cost of land on the basis of acquisition plus development cost.

(iii) To pay interest to the petitioner on the earnest money of Rs. deposited with the 2,000/- which was by the petitioner Respondent on 15.01.1979 as the respondents have made inordinate delay in providing the land to petitioner.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6636 of 2022(2) dt.20-12-2022 3/3 Liberty so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
