This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Goraul PS Case No. 350 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 30(A), 32(II), 41(I) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the instant case, huge quantity of foreign liquor was seized from the godown of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that godown from which the liquor was recovered was let out on rent to one Umesh Mahto. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 30.10.2018.

Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Goraul PS Case No. 350 of 2018 subject to the condition that bailors should be elected representatives of the local body.
