The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Hilsa P.S. case No. 459 2015 registered under Section 420, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that Prof. Arvind Kumar took Rs. 4,75,000/- from the informant on the pretext of providing job in Easter Coal Field Ltd. The informant deposited different amounts which was withdrawn by Prof. Arvind Kumar. The informant also deposited Rs. One lac in the account of petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already returned the entire amount of Rs. One lac to the informant which would appear from Annexure-2 of the bail petition. Similarly situated other accused persons, namely,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.80041 of 2018(2) dt.15-01-2019 2/2 Vineet Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Pallavi Joshi have already been granted anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateI, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 459 of 2015, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
