2. In the present case, the petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 14 of 2026 Pre Trial (NDPS) SI No. 01 of 26 dated 06.01.2026, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8A(C) and 21(b) of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on a tip-off, the petitioner was apprehended and from his possession 8.37 grams of brown sugar like substance, 20.51 grams of a yellow coloured substance and a mobile phone apart from some other articles were recovered and seized.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case. Nothing incriminating has

The recovery of brown sugar is said to be of 8.37 grams, which is less than the commercial quantity. The yellow coloured substance was also seized from the petitioner, but its nature is not yet clear. Learned counsel next submits that petitioner is having clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted. Learned counsel lastly submits that petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2026.

5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposes the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the parties and considering the intermediate quantity of contraband seized from the petitioner and also considering his clean antecedent, period of custody and submission of chargesheet against him, the petitioner, abovenamed, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jamui / concerned Court, in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 14 of 2026 Pre Trial (NDPS) SI No. 01 of 26, subject to the condition laid down under Section 480(3) of the B.N.S.S. and other following

(i) One of the bailors will be a close relative of the petitioner.

(ii) The petitioner will remain present on each and every date fixed by the court below, if so required by the learned trial Court.
