The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Sugauli P.S.Case No.289 of 2016 registered under Sections 363 and 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Regard being had to the fact that though the alleged occurrence took place on 20.11.2016, the matter was reported to the police on 14.12.2016 as also that specific allegation is against Manjit Paswan, who is said to have abducted the daughter of the informant for the purpose of marriage, the petitioners named above are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26352 of 2017 (3) dt.17-10-2017 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No.289 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today.
