The sole petitioner, apprehends his arrest in Saran Mahila P.S. Case No. 12 of 2016 registered for the offence under Sections 376, 342, 506 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act i.e. Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail. I have perused the F.I.R. as well as the statement of victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. Even in such heinous offence, the petitioner has dared to file anticipatory bail petition.
The petition stands dismissed.
