The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 379, 354(B) and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. On account of previous land dispute, all the accused persons named in the FIR including petitioners abused and assaulted the informant. It is further alleged that they also snatched her purse containing cash of Rs. 1,85,000/-, Iphone 14 Pro Max mobile and ornaments.

It is submitted that specific accusation of assault is against co-accused Salauddin and Imamuddin. So far as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24114 of 2023(2) dt.27-06-2023 2/2 petitioners are concerned, there is general and omnibus allegation against them. Petitioners claim clean antecedents. Counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate/concerned court, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chhauradano P.S. Case No. 409 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
