1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) To direct the District Magistrate-cumCollector, Gaya to dispose of the Aaganbari Appeal Case No 50/2018, filed by the Petitioner, expeditiously within the specific time frame which is pending since 2018.

(b) To quash the order dated 31.08.2018 passed in Aaganbari Case No -30/2018, passed by learned District Programme officer, Gaya whereby and whereunder the Learned D.P.O., I.C.D.S., Gaya has not considered the case of

Patna High Court CWJC No.6386 of 2024(2) dt.26-04-2024 2/2 Petitioner that her house is physically situated in ward no-05 and being highest percentage in merit list, she is entitled for selection."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Gaya to dispose off the pending Anganwari Appeal Case No.15 of 2018, within a stipulated time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal is still pending, the same shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistratecum-Collector, Gaya to dispose off the aforesaid appeal by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
