The petitioner is apprehending his arrest for the offence instituted under Section 498(A), 323, 379, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is of committing torture upon the victim due to non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry.

It has been jointly submitted on behalf of the parties that the matter has been settled between the parties and they are residing together.
