Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bandhuwa Kurawa P.S. Case No. 12 of 2022 lodged under Section 414 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, one pistol and one live cartridge along with Apache motorcycle, the documents of which were not available with the petitioner, alleged to be recovered from the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He is in custody since 13.02.2022 and has clean antecedent. Charge

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that recovery of arms with live cartridge along with motorcycle has been made from the possession of the petitioner.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the bail application of the petitioner be rejected at present.

He may renew the prayer for bail after framing of charge or after completion of one year in custody whichever is earlier.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
