Petitioner is husband of the informant. He is in custody in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 144 of 2019 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 498(A), 376, 511, 420, 494, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He submits that the informant is the wife and the petitioner is the husband. The wife is not willing to stay with the petitioner despite his persuasion and that is the reason the petitioner has been made accused in this case.

Considering the fact that is petitioner is husband and he has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail
