The petitioner is in custody in connection with Baheri P.S. Case No. 131 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 379, 366A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 23.11.2022.

Prosecution case in brief is that on 04-05-2024 at 04:00 PM, daughter of the informant, namely, Jyoti Kumari went to attend natural call outside the field. In the meantime one Guddu Mallik came and enticed away Jyoti Kumari for the purpose of marriage. The informant started search her daughter they found petitioner who is friend of accused Guddu mallik. On query, petitioner stated that Guddu Mallik has gone to Delhi with Jyoti Kumari. The informant brought the petitioner with

It is further alleged that on 06- 052022, son of the informant saw his sister with Guddu Mallik near Mahaveer Mandir of Baheri and when he tried to follow them he was assaulted.

The petitioner is the friend of main accused Guddu Mallik.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and also period of custody, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-VII, Darbhanga in connection with Baheri P.S. Case No. 131 of 2022. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Harsh/ U T
