This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 219 of 2023 registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 152 litre foreign liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 04.03.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24061 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and also the petitioner has clean antecedent, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge No. II, Siwan in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 219 of 2023.
