In this case the petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.72 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 379, 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the petitioners and others had raided the house of the informant and resorted firing and he laid his body to survive.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that there is case and counter case due to land dispute between the parties. In the statements made in para 9 of the case diary witnesses Santosh Kumar and Anil Yadav stated that such occurrence never occurred.
