Heard learned counsel for the State.

This petition is filed for modification of the order dated 14.05.2012 passed in Cr. Misc. 30928/2011 and it is prayed that the period of surrender of the petitioner be extended. It appears that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 14.05.2012 passed in Cr. 30928/2011 and the petitioner was directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt of aforesaid order and in that event the petitioner was directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad in Aurangabad P.S. Case no. 309/2009, but the petitioner did not surrender in the court

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30824 of 2016 (3) dt.22-09-2016 2/2 below even after lapse of more than four years. Petitioner filed this petition only on 15.07.2016 the reason for not surrendering in the court below in pursuance of the aforesaid order, as mentioned in the petition is not at all reasonable and worth-reliable. Considering the aforesaid facts, I do not find any reason to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner. Accordingly, this modification petition is dismissed.
