of Dumra P.S. Case No. 90 of 2015, dated 13.04.2015, instituted for the offences under Sections 406, 409, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. On 15.10.2020, this Court had called for a
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33658 of 2016(4) dt.05-12-2020 2/3 report about the stage of the case, which report has since been received.
The report indicates that charge-sheet in this case has already been submitted, whereafter cognizance has been taken. It further appears from the report that the Investigating Officer of this case had submitted charge-sheet in the original case record, on which, cognizance was taken and a supplementary case record was also directed to be opened as the investigation was kept pending. In that supplementary case record, no final report has been submitted. This Court, in view of the above, directs that the investigation in the aforesaid supplementary case be concluded as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today and a report be submitted to the Court below.
The petitioner would be entitled to avail of his remedies, in case he feels aggrieved by the report or any order passed by the Court below on such report.
