JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ, especially in nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.- 3 to call upon the petitioner and conduct his interview for selection and appointment against vacant posts of Lab Technician in light of vide Advertisement No. 05010115, as the petitioner could not appear on the date of his interview scheduled to be held on 19/08/2020 on
Patna High Court CWJC No.6671 of 2022(2) dt.06-12-2023 2/3 account of having the peak period of Covid-19 pandemic and the petitioner stuck at New Delhi on that point of time and further it was not possible to move from there to appear in interview at Patna, within short period of notice for interview uploaded on website of the commission on 01/08/2020. A number of posts are still vacant so consideration of petitioner's case will not harm anyone, apart from aforesaid facts the petitioner case may be considered by the respondent No.-3 on sympathetic ground, taking into account of the difficulties in travelling during that period, risk factor of being infected with virus in travelling and to remain in quarantine for 14 days in Bihar which was mandatory on that point of time for all who came to Bihar from other states."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent
Patna High Court CWJC No.6671 of 2022(2) dt.06-12-2023 3/3 authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
