In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 registered for offences under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

An allegation has been made that the accused persons have surrounded the victim and assaulted him as a result of which he ultimately died in the hospital.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory
