The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for the following reliefs:- i) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/ order(s)/direction (s)/ to the respondents to give protection of life and property to the petitioner and her family member from private respondents and their goons who have maliciously been implicating the family member of the petitioner in false and fabricated case just for harassing to them because she got married against the wishes of her parents and family member with one Satya Prakash Pathak a native of same village.
ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/ order(s)/direction (s) to the respondents for directing the local police to registered the cases against family members of the petitioner after proper verification because local police indulged with private respondents and their political/official heavyweight.
3. The petitioner seeks police protection in view of the fact that she has got married to one Satya Prakash Pathak against the wishes of her family and three cases have been filed against them by the respondent nos. 9 and 10.
4. In these circumstances, in view of the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Smt. Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and Anr. reported as 2006 (5) SCC 475 and Smt.
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.755 of 2024(2) dt.17-07-2025 3/3 Uma Devi and Anr. Vs. State of U.P. and Ors. reported in 2014 SCC OnLine AII 8906, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chhapra and the SHO, Manjhi Police Station to provide necessary protection to the petitioner, her husband Satya Prakash Pathak and their family members till threat perception exists with regard to the marriage between the petitioner and Satya Prakash Pathak.
5. With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
6. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chhapra through FAX for its compliance/necessary action.
