JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the petitioner prays for issuance of appropriate order/direction/writ/writs for commanding and directing upon the Respondent State to grant appropriate compensation to the victim petitioner who is widow of deceased Vijay Krishna who was firstly kidnapped for ransom and due to inability to concede the demand of perpetrator accused in connection with Nawadah Town P.S. Case No. 112/2013 registered under Section 364/34 of Indian Penal Code in which after investigation charge-sheet has been submitted U/S 364/302/201/120(B) of 1.P.C. which is still under pending for trial and Respondent State failed to protect the life of

Patna High Court CWJC No.16094 of 2015(2) dt.23-03-2023 2/2 deceased husband of petitioner due to that petitioner is reeling under acute financial crunch along with 4 minor children who are school going students and Respondent State failed to fulfill its constitutional obligation provided under Article 21 of the constitution of India as also any other/orders for granting any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found entitled to in the facts and circumstance of the case."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
