Pursuant to the submissions made by Mr. Y.C. Verma, learned Senior Counsel, the name of petitioner No.2, namely, Vivek Ranjan, is hereby deleted.
Having considered the averments made in the writ petition and materials on record and upon hearing the parties, it is hereby directed that respondent No3, namely, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and complete the investigation of Kotwali P.S. Case No.270 of 2016 expeditiously,
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.604 of 2016 dt.05-07-2016 2/2 preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed and necessary security of the petitioner is taken care of. Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and Officer-in-Charge, Kotwali Police Station.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
