The grievance in this application pertains to inclusion of the names of the petitioners in the voter list of Danapur Assembly Constituency.
Inclusion or exclusion in the voter list is covered by rule/provision. The election authorities are the competent person to effect such correction by either including or excluding the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2730 of 2014 (2) dt.02-08-2016 2/2 elector in the voter list. Any such grievance ought to have been raised before them. Instead of doing so, the writ petition is filed. I am satisfied the application deserves disposal permitting the petitioners to ventilate their grievance before the election authority in accordance with law.
