2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 420 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 305(b), 62, 303(2) and 3(5) of BNS.
3. The informant, a police officer posted at Sultanganj Police Station, stated that on 22.11.2025, while he was going to buy vegetables, a person attempted to steal his scooter. He caught the accused, Sanjeet Kumar @ Sonu, who then called his brother Manjeet Kumar alias Monu (the petitioner) and other associates. They attacked the informant with iron punches, causing serious injuries and also snatched 1100 from him. ₹

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The allegations leveled against him are false and concocted.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the fact that there is allegation against the petitioner only to the extent of having entered into a scuffle, which has perhaps not led to any injury, I am inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Let the petitioner, as named above, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Patna City, Patna in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 420 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and subject to further condition that :- (i) The petitioner shall co-operate in the investigation/ trial.
(ii) The learned Court below would, however, verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and in case it is found
