This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 205 of 2021 registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 3485.160 litre foreign liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24219 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing one year in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise JudgeI, Samastipur, District-Samastipur in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 205 of 2021.
