JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 31-08-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1693 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that nothing specific has been alleged against the petitioner. As a matter of fact, no occurrence as alleged has ever taken place. There is no injury report on the record to support the allegations. Petitioner is still ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour. Petitioner had earlier lodged a F.I.R. against opposite party no. 2 under section 328 of the Indian Penal Code.

No.27701 of 2017(3) dt.31-08-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Complaint Case No. 1693 of 2014 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
