The petitioner has approached this court for issuance of direction to the respondents to consider the certificate of teachers training of All India Correspondence Coaching Society, Calcutta as the degree of teachers training for appointment of post of teacher.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that this writ petition is not maintainable in view of the specific provision of the National Council of Teachers Education, 1983.

It appears that the petitioner has sought the above stated relief on the strength of judgment dated 8.2.1989 passed in CWJC no. 9508/1988.

Admittedly, aforesaid judgment was passed prior to

Patna High Court CWJC No.15475 of 2007 (2) dt.11-02-2015 coming into force of the National Council of Teachers Education, 1983.

Therefore, considering the aforesaid facts, this petition stands dismissed being infructous.
