The petitioners seek bail in Tisiauta P.S. Case No. 12/2019, instituted for offences under Section(s) 420, 467, 468, 414 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(a) (b)(c), 38, 41(A) and (b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that total 2967.12 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from a truck. Petitioners are said to be driver and conductor of the aforesaid truck.

Considering the recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor from the truck, of which petitioners were driver and

Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioners is rejected. The petitioners are given liberty to renew prayer of bail after six months if no substantive progress is made in trial.
