JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 20-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Excise Act, 2016.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 05.03.2022, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

Allegation is of recovery of 112.320 litre of liquor from a car.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the driver and owner of the car. He had parked the car when someone had kept the liquor inside the car without his

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Nautan P. S. Case No.113 of 2022.

The application stands allowed.
