This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Raghopur P.S. Case N0. 283 of 2018, disclosing offences under Section 364 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegedly, the victim, a minor boy was kidnapped and demand for ransom was being made. He was subsequently recovered. His statement has been recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, which substantiates the allegation that he was kidnapped. The petitioner's name has transpired in course of investigation on the basis of disclosure made by one of accused persons, Rajeev Kumar. Considering the seriousness of the offence and the fact petitioner's custodial interrogation may be required, I am
