1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Raxaul Police Station Case No. 557 of 2022, dated 22.11.2022, disclosing offences under Sections 341/323/324/325/307/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that on 22.11.2022, when the informant went to the house of co-accused Baban Singh and demanded money for ploughing field he was abused. Upon objection, the petitioner, along with other co-accused persons, came out of their houses variously armed and started assaulting the informant. When the informant's son intervened, the petitioner stabbed him with knife in his stomach due to

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has not committed any offence in the manner alleged and the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case due to money dispute and on the basis of false and concocted story. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

5. Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation and the fact that injury caused to the victim is grievous in nature caused by knife on his abdomen/stomach which is a vital part of the body, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.
