Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piar P.S. Case No. 289 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 20, 22 of the NDPS Act and 25(1-b)(a), 26, and 35 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution story in short is that on 12.12.2022, the informant got a secret information that five culprits are assembled near the Harpur Banth Chowk and they have Ganja like substance in the bag. When the informant went there, seeing the police, the culprits started running, the informant chased them and apprehended. On search, total 4.8KG of Ganja like

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.12.2022 and the petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the recovery of intermittent quantity of Ganja, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Muzaffarpur/ concerned court below in connection with Piar P.S. Case No. 289 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Sakara Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
