ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 16-08-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as per the personal affidavit filed by the Additional Secretary, Minor Water Irrigation Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, an amount of Rs. 41,53,452/- has been paid for the works which were done till 05.01.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the official respondents have not made the interest on the same and moreover the amounts due for the works done after 05.01.2016 may be directed to be paid.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Hon'ble Court to give a representation to the official

Patna High Court CWJC No.6532 of 2023(5) dt.16-08-2023 2/2 respondents for bringing into light his grievances with regard to non-payment of interest and also the amounts due for the works done after 05.01.2016.

Having regard to the same, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation before the authority concerned for ventilating his grievances within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and if petitioner is found eligible for payment of any amount, the same shall be paid within a period of eight weeks thereof.

If any rejection order is passed, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner and the petitioner is free to challenge the same.

With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
