The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 523 of 2019, arising out of Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 302 of 2018 dated 09.07.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 17.08.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 26336 of 2019.

On 08.07.2020, this Court had asked for a report about the stage of the case. The report which has been received in this Court indicates that after framing of charge five prosecution witnesses have already been

Considering the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period six months from the date of production/receipt of a copy of this order. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
