Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 307/354b/379/504 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner no.1 and 2 are alleged to have caused grievous injury, whereas petitioner no. 3 to 8 have caused simple injury. Petitioners claim clean antecedent. Learned counsel for the State as well as the informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26899 of 2023(2) dt.11-07-2023 2/2 oppose the prayer for bail.

Considering the nature of injury caused by petitioner no.1 and 2 to the informant side, their prayer for pre-arrest bail is refused.

As petitioner no.3 to 8 are alleged to have caused simple injury, their prayer for bail is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Baniyapur Police Station Case No. 33 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
