Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR would reveal that petitioner no. 2 had entered into court marriage with the victim.

Allegation is that soon after marriage there was demand of dowry and torture for the same. The victim died in her matrimonial house in unnatural circumstances. At the time of death, the petitioner no. 2 was at Delhi in connection with his job. The victim was carrying pregnancy of five months. Submission is that there is no direct evidence against the petitioners of commission of death rather the victim

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79577 of 2018(3) dt.16-04-2019 2/2 died due to some medical complication arising out of pregnancy. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail, who are in custody since 04.08.2018 and 09.05.2018, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Raushanganj Police Station Case No. 53 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
