Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 10724 of 2018 (Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No. 266 of 2018) for offence alleged under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation upon the petitioner is that he was apprehended with 15 liters of country made liquor. Accordingly, a seizure list was prepared.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he is innocent, bears no criminal history and has been falsely implicated in the aforesaid case and is languishing in judicial custody since 24.02.2019.

However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
