Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for grant of regular bail arise out of Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 14 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that on secret information, the Bakhtiyarpur police apprehended the petitioner and on search one loaded pistol and one live cartridge has been recovered from his possession.

Petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2023 and he has 6 criminal antecedents.

In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24080 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Patna is directed to transfer all the cases against the petitioner in one court for trial and the trial shall be expedited at the earliest.
