The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bandeya P.S. Case No.34 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016.

Considering the alleged recovery of country-made liquor from the 'Dalan' of the house of the petitioner, from where he managed to escape on seeing the police party, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected. In case, the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
