The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No.96 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 399, 402, 414, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the gravity of the offence as also the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation and the police may require his custodial interrogation, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected.
