1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for the following relief :- "1. That by way of this writ application, the petitioner prays of issuance of appropriate writ or writs, order or orders, direction or directions commanding upon the respondents for giving promotion to the petitioner where recommendation and resolution of the Selection committee constituted
Patna High Court CWJC No.17568 of 2015(2) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 in 2013 for promotion has been kept pending and non implemented and has not been notified despite in an another matter which was also pending before the same committee has been published after the orders of this Hon'ble court and other matters have been kept in abeyance despite reminders by Governor Secretariat and also self decision in university syndicate meeting under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor that decision will be taken at an earlier dated after 05.09.2015 with the committee it has not been done yet and petitioner giving several representation to the authorities since several years without any response and thereby petitioner has been suffering and not given any promotion under the Career Advancement Scheme for which Senior scale the petitioner became eligible in 27.07.1998 and acquired required eligibility and qualification for Selection grade in 2003."
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner having been redressed during pendency of the instant application, he seeks permission to withdraw this application.
4. In view of the above, the application is dismissed as withdrawn.
