For the Petitioner :

Mr. Tarun Prasad Mandal, Advocate For the Respondents :

Mr. Rajendra kumar Giri, Advocate =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-11-2015 Petitioner wants re-evaluation of his L.L.M. papers of Part II. Since the respondent-University did not respond to his request, he chose to file a writ before the High Court seeking a direction. The University has taken a stand that since there are no Statute and Rules providing for re-evaluation of answer books of either L.L.M. or any other subject under the University, such a request of the petitioner was not entertained.

In absence of any Rules, Regulations or Statute, there is no failure on the part of the respondents who did not perform the statutory duty. That be so, no writ in favour of the petitioner can be issued.

Writ is dismissed for above reasons.
