The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For quashing the order contained in Memo No. 860-2 dated 24.10.2019 issued by the District Magistrate, Supaul whereby the representation of the petitioner for appointment / regularization on any class-IV post has been rejected on the plea that he worked out only for 215 days till 2013 ignoring the fact that the petitioner worked 71 days in 2014 total 285 days till date but the respondent wrongly rejected the candidature.

(ii) For a direction to the respondents to

Patna High Court CWJC No.6777 of 2022(2) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 empanel the petitioner in category/ AppendixB or D and consider his case for regularization/ appointment on Class-IV post as such he has discharged the duty of DDT Sprayers for more than 240 days but it was wrongly calculated at 215 days till 2013 though he worked 285 days till 2014 and also worked thereafter."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
