The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 26 of 2020, arising out of Thakurganj Police Station Case No. 134 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 324/307/337/338/504/ 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail. Earlier, the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order, dated 28.02.2020, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 8580 of 2020, giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23058 of 2020(2) dt.09-09-2020 2/2 Learned Counsel for the petitioner, referring to paragraph 16 of this application, submits that the charges have been framed against the petitioner on 20.05.2020. After having heard learned Counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that charges against the petitioner have been framed on 20.05.2020, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
This application is allowed.
Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Kishanganj, in connection with Sessions Trial No. 26 of 2020, arising out of Thakurganj Police Station Case No. 134 of 2019. It is made clear that at the time of furnishing bail bonds, all the parties shall follow the guidelines regarding lockdown and social distancing.
