2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, two miscreants riding on a motorcycle intercepted informant and on the point of pistol looted cash and mobile phone. Name of petitioner transpired during course of investigation and has got two criminal antecedents of similar nature.
