2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 20(2), (c) of the NDPS Act, which was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 21.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 73464 of 2022 with a direction to trial court to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

4. In compliance of order dated 26.4.2024, a progress report dated 7.6.2024 sent by Addl. Distt. & Sessions Judge-Icum-Special Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur has been received which suggests that trial is likely to be concluded in three months.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no hope to conclude the trial in near future. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 24.10.2022.

6. There is no new ground to reconsider the bail prayer of the petitioner. Hence, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of four months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
