The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Deepnagar P.S. Case No.483 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a)/30(c)/30(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

60 litres of country made liquor and other articles for manufacturing of liquor have been recovered from the place of occurrence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got one criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is submitted that the petitioner is said to have fled away from the place of

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is a member of the syndicate involved in manufacturing of illicit liquor, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
