The petitioners have been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail vide order dated 20.05.2022. It has been submitted that inadvertently, in the opening part of the order dated 20.05.2022, the provision of Section 27 of the Arms Act was omitted to be stated. It has further been submitted that precisely for this reason, the bail-bonds of the petitioners are not being accepted.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34032 of 2021(3) dt.22-06-2022 2/2 In view of the submission afore-stated, let the order dated 20.05.2022 be modified to the extent that the third paragraph at page No. 1 of the order be read as : "The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 203 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Section 341, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act."
Since the petitioners have not filed their bailbonds, the time for surrendering before the Court below be further extended by a period of four weeks from today on the same terms and conditions as laid down in the order dated 20.05.2022.
The order dated 20.05.2022 stands modified to the extent indicated above.
